Q/D #7

" We live in an age when going to the library means turning on our laptops and making sure that we have a wireless connection." The way is see the meaning to  this quote is that its basically saying that theres people who don't actually go to the library however, when they do they go to just waste time. People nowadays will only go to places that have wifi because its more convenient. Which to me I can personally relate to is because I'm one of those people who don't go to the library and I do, I don't know how to act. I'll eventually do my work but it will take me a minute or two to actually get focused. The reason to that is because people nowadays are so focus on social media that sometime people tend to slack of with there studies and tend to waste time on there laptops but as long as they have wireless connection they will be satisfied.
Quote #6 "But is the imagination really powerful enough or trustworthy enough to approximate the experience of walking a mile in another person's shoe" (pg.87.) I believe imagination is a very powerful thing that either harm or benefit people. The reason to why I say this is because when someone imagines something they are basically envisioning themselves doing what someone else is doing which could be them doing something good. However, the reason why that could be a problem would be because that could also lead someone to do whatever they need to, to be able to have the same things another person may have.

Quote #5

"Over time all students will learn that what their teachers mean when they say "pay attention" is "be quite and listen" To me, the meaning of this quote is that teacher will seem to care more about students "paying attention" and just be quite but just because one is quite it doesn't mean that they are listening and actually learning.

Quote #4

"...practicing being engaged with and interested in the word"  when one is actually interested in learning about something or being a part of something they'll actually explore there minds and become better engaged.

Quote #3

"Can curiosity and creativity be learned? unlearned? relearned?" Everyone is born with a creative mind but it just requires the will to explore it and learn more which thats what creativity is.

quote #2

"Conventional wisdom would  have us  believe that talent  is  innate: either  you’ve  got  it  or you don’t." I believe people are born with talent but people can learn to achieve many different skills which could also in a way be seen a  talent.
